Introducing VEL: A Reprint Series

Big Lucks is happy to announce VĖL, a new reprint series. VĖL (the Lithuanian word for "again") seeks to give new life, prioritize low overhead, and keep our favorite titles in print (and in bookstores & libraries). A series of chapbooks will also be released as part of the VĖL series in PDF form.

The first three VĖL titles will be:

• Wildlives (2nd Edition), by Sarah Jean Alexander (releasing 4/2018)
• When All Our Days Are Numbered Marching Bands Will Fill the Streets But We Will Not Hear Them Because We Will Be Upstairs in the Clouds, by Sasha Fletcher (releasing 7/2018)
• How We Light, Nick Sturm (releasing 10/2018)

Wildlives (Second Edition) is already available for preorder and copies will be available at Whale Prom. This new edition contains over 50 pages of new poems. We are looking for 1-2 more out-of-print full length manuscripts for our reprint series. We're considering an open reading period for these titles, but please fill out our query form if you have an out-of-print title you'd like us to consider.
